THE DAVID ALDIS INDIA TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 July 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
This charity operates only in India. We provide medical and all health services free of charge to the poorest members of society in India which are mostly Harijans (Dalits) or tribals. We deal with the sick, disabled and those suffering from malnutrition by providing advice on improved farming methods and personal healthcare. We also, when funds permit, encourage children to attend schools.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
