THE JOHN CLOUGH MUSIC TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 May 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We lent musical instruments (2 alto saxophones, 1 tenor sax, 1 clarinet) to local children who wished to learn to play such instruments. Our service was withdrawn in March 2009; one alto sax has been sold. Once all instruments have been sold, the Trust's funds will be donated to local organisations that support musical activities for young children.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
