WESSEX HOLIDAY SCHEME
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 October 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Wessex Holiday Scheme provides a weeks holiday, to families, who are less advantaged than normal, families who, are struggling just to live on what they earn, families who have someone in the family who have a serious illness, disabled, terminally ill, be it young or elderly. The chalet is wheelchair friendly, with a special non-slip ramp and varandah.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
