CATHOLIC INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 26 March 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Progressio is a UK based charity with Catholic roots working internationally to help people gain power over their lives and overcome barriers that keep them poor. We do that by developing partnerships with local organisations and providing practical support through our development workers. We also lobby decision-makers to change policies that keep people poor.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
