FRIENDS OF CHARLKEN HOMES
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 June 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
'Friends of Charken Homes' is a volunteer group from the Harrow community who, through friendship, support the residents of 5 homes in Harrow, Kenton & Greenford. All the residents have learning disabilities, some with accompanying physical disabilities. Our highly successful friendship scheme enables our friends to enjoy home visits & numerous outings, greatly improving their quality of life.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
