THE METTYEAR CHARITABLE TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 September 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Charity makes payments to such charitable bodies, institutions and causes as the Trustees think fit in particular those concerned with the historic town of Lewes in East Sussex, and to relieve suffering in response to natural disasters and other emergencies wheresoever such events may occur.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
