WORPLESDON MEMORIAL HALL AND RECREATION GROUND AND THE SIME TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 23 February 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity manages Worplesdon Memorial Hall and its associated Recreation Ground in order to provide recreational, social and sporting facilities for the residents of Worplesdon and surrounding areas. It also manages the Sidney Sime Gallery (on the first floor of the Memorial Hall) in order to conserve, display and promote interest in the works of art received under Mary Sime's bequest.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
