THE PURPOSE OF THE FUND IS FOR THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO ASSIST MINEWORKERS AND THEIR DEPENDENT SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES TO EXTEND THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND LIFE EXPERIENCES THROUGH COURSES OF HIGHER AND FURTHER EDUCATION.
