What it does
The Trust was established as a registered charity on 5 May 1958 and exists to provide bursaries and prizes to students of mining engineering, geology and related sciences and so help attract high calibre students into the mineral industries. The Trust is also permitted to make grants to teaching staff to help broaden their knowledge of the mineral industries through mine visits.
