UNIPAL - A UNIVERSITIES' TRUST FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE WITH PALESTINIANS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 January 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Unipal seeks to promote cultural understanding between the British public and Palestinians living in refugee camps in West Bank, Gaza & Lebanon. We currently do this by running summer programmes that send volunteers to teach English in Palestinian refugee camps and by bringing UNRWA English teachers to the UK to attend language courses and thereby improve their English.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
