FRIENDS OF THE QUEENS HALL WOMENS HOSTEL
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 October 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Queens Hall Womens Hostel is a hostel for homeless women and their children, from Derby, Erewash and Derbyshire as a whole. Most are homeless due to family breakdown or domestic violence. The Friends of Queens Hall Womens Hostel are a supporting group drawn largely, but not only, from local churches. They organise fund-raising activities and do voluntary work at the hostel.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
