THE CAMEO CLUB (OVER 60S)
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 March 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We are a club for over 60's meeting weekly for an afternoon of chat with whist and dominoes and bingo, we have several outings per year and we try to keep the members active with help when needed - hospital visits etc. We try to keep our members informed of activities in the neighbourhood.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
