THE PERSHORE AND DISTRICT TALKING NEWSPAPER ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 September 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Pershore Talking Newspaper produces, fortnightly, a recording on memory stick to blind persons and those with temporary or permanently impaired sight. It contains readings of news from in and around Pershore and an item of special interest or an interview with a local person. It also has a selection of articles from recent national magazines (with their permission).

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
