1ST LOWTON GIRL GUIDE COMPANY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 13 August 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Weekly meetings organised for girls aged between 10-15 years to take part in a wide range of challenges such as cooking, crafts, games, socialising. The girls also carry out challenges that benefit the local and world community for example, they've organised jumble sales, summer fairs and sponsored challenges which have benefited the Christie Hospital, Christian Aid and themselves.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
