LEARNING TO CARE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 July 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Learning to Care is run by the pupils of Stonyhurst College overseen by a board of adult trustees. The charity raises money through pupils' efforts by raffles, quiz nights, concerts, sporting activities and similar events. The money is distributed to charitable causes locally, nationally and internationally.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
