THE NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 19 April 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

NYMA exists to protect and enhance the characteristic natural beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors for present and future generations. Through members' efforts we monitor activities in the area, promoting those benefiting the natural beauty, but opposing and offering constructive alternatives where necessary.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
