WISTASTON MEMORIAL HALL AND COMMUNITY CENTRE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 6 May 2025. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Opened on 26th March 1949 with the OBJECTIVE "This property is held upon trust for the purpose of physical training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions." The Wistaston Memorial Hall was built in memory of sixteen men from Wistaston who perished in WW2. Over 30 organisations currently use the premises.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
