FRIENDS OF THE STONY STRATFORD HEALTH CENTRE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 20 March 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We run coffee mornings each month and a bazaar once a year. At both of these events we have Refreshments, a Raffle, sell Books, Knitware, Cakes, Plants, and Bric-a-Brac. We also get donations from grateful patients and other members of the local community. All profits go to the 2 GP practices, in the Health Centre, for all sorts of additional equipment that they request.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
