REMAP
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 26 March 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Our volunteers work in local groups across the country to design and make, or adapt, pieces of equipment for people with disabilities where no suitable item is available from elsewhere. Remap helps people carry out household and personal care tasks and enables them to take part in leisure activities otherwise closed to them, thus bringing them much-needed independence and improved quality of life.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
