What it does
To provide financial assistance for students from Asia, so they may complete their studies in the UK when those studies are threatened with interruption owing to unexpected financial difficulties beyond the control of the student during their final 6 months of study. The maximum grant is ?2,000. In 2013/14 28 grants were made, and it is anticipated that the fund will be fully utilised in 2014/15.
