BRIGG AND DISTRICT CIVIC SOCIETY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 14 November 2007. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Society's area of operation is the civil parish of Brigg and parts of the civil parishes of Broughton and Scawby commonly known as Scawby Brook. The objects of the Society are to promote civic pride in the environment of the area by carrying out practical projects, commenting on planning applications and holding educational meetings for our members.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
