9F LOCOMOTIVE CHARITABLE TRUST COMPANY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 30 September 2022. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity restored a derelict ex British Railways class 9F 2-10-0 steam locomotive, to full working order. That work was completed in 2003. In 2010, 92214 was sold, and is now part of the Great Central Railway's working fleet. The charity has since acquired for overhaul a Peckett R4 class 0-4-0ST industrial steam locomotive. When completed, it will be available for public demonstration.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
