TODMORDEN MOOR RESTORATION TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 July 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Restoration and preservation of Todmorden Moor as a space for the quiet enjoyment of the public. Activities include maintaining access to the moor for the general public and encouraging public use of the moor for quiet enjoyment. We also work through information and eduction to discourage activities which damage the moor and provide information about the moor as it is now and was in the past.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
