SIXTY PLUS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 8 September 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Sixty Plus aims to support older people to remain independent, to combat isolation, to promote partnerships between younger and older people, to encourage older people as volunteers and to work collaboratively to address gaps in provision. Working with volunteers, Sixty Plus provides flexible and practical assistance to support the well-being of older people.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
