SOUTH HAMS COUNCIL FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 October 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

One of the main roles of the charity is to provide groups with advice and information to help them flourish. It publicises its activities to ensure its services are known in the community. In particular management support was available to over five hundred groups in the year and grant money is administrated on behalf of the Primary Care Trust.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record
