HOSPICE AT HOME VOLUNTEERS (BEDFORD BRANCH)
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 13 April 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Providing practical support and friendship at home for people in Bedford and rural North Bedfordshire, who are suffering from life-limiting illnesses. We do not replace the care or support provided by statutory services nor do we provide direct personal nursing care. The charity works closely with other professionals and is regarded as an integral element in palliative care provision in this area.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
