THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR DIATOM RESEARCH

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 October 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The International Society for Diatom Research promotes the study of marine, freshwater, modern and fossil diatoms across the wide range of disciplines. Our society represents investigators from all nations, and we: hold biennial, international conferences, support young scientists, offer travel funding to attend conferences, publish an international journal and connect people around the world.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
