ZAPALLAL SHARING THE STRUGGLE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 7 March 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Zapallal Sharing The Struggle was the main charity for Sainsbury's Magazine and funds are now received based upon the original standing orders at the conception of the charity. The funds are held in the UK in a current account and amounts are sent periodically to Peru to support activities in Zapallal involving education, training, workshops, community employment and support.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
