THE TOTNES TOWN MILL TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 January 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The trust has a long lease of the Totnes Town Mill (a recently restored historic listed building in the centre of Totnes). The mill houses the Totnes Information Centre; part of the South Hams Cab and the Totnes image bank & rural archive and provides a permanent exhibition tracing the history of Totnes and the history of milling in the area.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
