TREE OF LIFE LANCASHIRE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 September 2007. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The Tree of Life Charity has now wound up due to lack of volunteers and not a lot of support from other groups. They are seeing others now doing the same work in Oldham and feel they did a worth while work. We have just received books backs from accountant so thats why we are just finishing off our duty to send this accounts off now. Closed on the 21-8-07. Sent Details.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
