BIRMINGHAM PEN TRADE HERITAGE ASSOCIATION
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 24 May 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
To promote and preserve the history and legacy of the steel pen trade in Birmingham, for the advancement of the education and benefit of the public, to maintain a museum that showcases the skill and craftsmanship of the pen makers and their employees and also houses historic artefacts and ephemera related to the art of writing.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
