THE OVERSEAS CHILD RESCUE TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 19 March 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity was established to apply funds for the relief of poverty and the advancement of the Christian religion throughout the world, in particular to rescue destitute children in the Philippines by providing a home, education and Christian values. Currently the trust supports several young ex-street dwellers in Manila, to train them in job disciplines, and encourage in education.
