THE RESCUERS WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 June 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and releases young and injured British wildlife. It also provides a permanent home for wildlife that has a good quality of life but cannot survive in the wild. It offers advice on dealing with wildlife problems and it offers talks on its work to schools, clubs etc to broaden peoples knowledge of their local wildlife.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
