FORMBY & SOUTHPORT CARRIAGE DRIVING GROUP RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 20 January 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We teach the skill of carriage driving to people with a disability for whom riding is no longer possible. We have two carriages for use with wheelchairs & we use specially trained ponies to provide this service. Our companion drivers are all approved by the Riding for the Disabled Association as are our ponies & equipment. All our funding is found locally.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
