RADYR AND DISTRICT GOOD NEIGHBOUR SCHEME

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 July 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The scheme aims to improve the quality of life for people in the local community who may be in need of support by providing a voluntary service of neighbourly help eg shopping, local transport, befriending, practical tasks. We have a weekly friendship group (Wednesdays) in Radyr and weekly lunch clubs in Pentyrch (Tuesdays) and Radyr (Fridays) and run one off social events during the year.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
