THE BOTLEY E TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 18 April 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We choose a different charity each year and hold events at which to raise funds - the amount is never more than ·200 pa. 2007/2008 we chose the new salvation army premises in Swindon. Sometimes our speakers donate their fee to a charity of their choice (approximately ·30 per month).

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
