BEDFORDSHIRE AFRICAN SUPPORT PROJECT
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 June 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Bedfordshire African Support Project is a grassrrot organisation that work for and with the African and other communities to provide employment, welfare benefits, debt/money advice and also organise community events like sporting and leisure activities. We also promote education and well-being to women and children living in some part of sub-Saharan Africa.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
