THE SUE MAY TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 19 May 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We are involved with the higher education of a small community of young people (15 at present aged 16-23) who come from disadvantaged areas in Andhra Pradesh. The students are mentored and cared for by Christian workers in a hostel in Hyderabad. We visit India every 2 years to meet the students and to learn more fully of the benefit they and their wider families receive through the charity support

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
