THE HARBOUR PROJECT FOR SWINDON REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 April 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We provide a Drop-in centre for refugees and asylum seekers in Swindon offering basic advice, English classes and recreational activities. We also provide refreshments, free telephone and internet access as well as second-hand clothing and household equipment. We have an emergency fund to assist with travel, food and limited accommodation. We signpost to other agencies as the need arises.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
