CHESHAM MUSEUM
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 21 December 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The museum promotes the local history and traditional industries of wood ware, boots, brushes and brewing. Display boards show the main items of interest. Exhibits include a Roman mosaic found locally. Screens show DVDs featuring aspects of the town. Books and DVDs of local interest are available for sale. Due to the rent payable the museum has left its former premises and seeks a new home..

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
