ALPHA HOUSE (CALDERDALE)

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 29 September 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We will be purchasing the property this year and plan to commence service delivery in 2010. When Alpha House (Calderdale) is up and running we will be providing intensively supported accommodation to men over 25 who have had substance misuse problems and need structured residential provision to help them sustain a drug free lifestyle.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
