NATIONAL WILDLIFE CONSERVATION PARK

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 November 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The strategy is to create the National Wildlife Conservation Park at Hollywood Tower Estate near Bristol. Difficulty in raising funds has led to us following a different strategic path, of "organic" growth from a modest opening offer. "Wild Place Project" will be used to generate income and employment in the area whilst also acting as a fundraising tool for the larger scheme going forward.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
