THE LEONARD INGRAMS FOUNDATION
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 May 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Foundation was set up in memory of Leonard Ingrams, founder of Garsington Opera. Its principal activity is to advance the education of the public through the encouragement of the arts. Principally, the Foundation funds awards for young artists involved in bringing opera to the stage and also offers its support to Garsington Opera in order to continue and further enhance its high standards.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
