HIGHWAY TOOLS AND CRAFT CENTRE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 May 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We run a Furniture Crisis Service for some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in our communities by providing beneficiaries with essential items of furniture. Items are collected and re-distributed to people in need i.e. on low income, ex-offenders etc.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
