THE WESTSIDE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 July 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Westside is a model of how a small school for young people in Key Stage 4 who are at risk of failing in mainstream education can get them 'back on track' through a GCSE based curriculum with emphasis on individual attention, and building self confidence.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
