ON GOLDEN LANE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 31 October 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Charity is working to ensure that the Golden Lane campus in Islington which brings together a children's centre and 2 schools provides access and benefits to the wider local community, providing educational opportunities to disadvantaged families as well as their children. Our philosophy of education gives priority to valuing the skills that children acquire within their families.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
