BBC WILDLIFE FUND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 15 April 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The BBC Wildlife Fund was set up in 2007 by the BBC to help protect endangered species around the world and in the UK. It does this by funding UK charities working internationally and in the UK to protect wildlife, identifying not only the most endangered animals on the planet but also those less well known species for which there is little or no public profile. The BBC Wildlife Fund is committed
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
