GIRLS SCHOOL AFRICA
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 June 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Girls School Africa paid school fees for girls whose parents could not afford to send them to Secondary or Vocational School. The first group completed their secondary education and went on to further education, including one studying Physics at University at Kumasi and two studying Social Sciences at Legon. These beneficiaries help out at Ghana Planetarium Science Centre public events.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record

The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
