THE FOUNDATION FOR THE FINANCIAL PROTECTION OF HOMEOWNERS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 November 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Foundation for the Financial Protection of Homeowners, also known as "Homeowner Rescue Advice Centre" is set up to advise and assist homeowners who are facing difficulty with their mortgage lender as a result of a lack of payments, and are at any stage during the repossession process. We do not and will not arrange finance. We do not and will not offer any form of "buy and rent back" scheme.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
