TREASURES OF DARKNESS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 3 March 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We provide finance to fund two projects at present. The first aims to rescue children from the sex slave industry in Cambodia. This targets Vietnamese refugees where 80% of young girls are sold and provides education and rescue for those at risk. The second aims to rescue children from slavery on the cocoa plantations of Ivory Coast, West Africa.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
